The place is in need of a facelift. I think it is the best campground in the Mammoth Cave Area but it has some issues. The children's play area is a danger zone and should be closed down. We were led to believe it was a place where our toddler could play but it was way too dangerous with broken boards, bridges, and swings. Also, the putt-putt golf area is in a state of disrepair.
I thought the price was way too high. The sites were shady, clean, and nice. Pool was nice and well-kept, and it was in a great location. We would stay there again but want to try someplace new next time. A nice place but I still thought it was too high and we saw some campgrounds while we were there that were priced considerably less and just as nice.
The owners are very friendly and the campground is very well kept. It is a great place to stay if you are on your way to Panama City Beach. We have a toddler and there wasn't much for him to do. The pool is small but clean, not steps in, only a ladder. We are hoping they get a playground for the little ones.
The campground facilities were very nice. The pool and play area were clean and nice. I would like to say I did not find the staff to be very accommodating or friendly, especially with younger children. I was disappointed in the distance to the beach and the zoo next door did get stinky. I would look for another campground next time.
